WHY DIGITAL FILES INSTEAD OF PRINTS?

Good Question. First and foremost, we are a design gallery, not a production house. We are intent on developing one-of-a-kind artwork and want to spend our time doing what printers and frame houses don't do... seeking out ideal subject matter and producing outrageous artwork. We produce the art that nobody else con produce and we leave the printing and mounting process to those who do that extremely well.

Here's another good reason... when you purchase a digital file, YOU can shop for the best deal and the highest quality (not always the same source) and save both time and money. You can purchase the art and have it printed at your convenience.

One more reason... if we print and mount your Alius artwork, we have to charge you a surcharge to cover our time and efforts. Why pay an additional 15-20% to have us contract out the work when you can send the file to your local (or national) printer both faster and cheaper?

Digital Files & The Ordering Process

PRODUCTION FACTS ABOUT DIGITAL FILES

My entire career has been wrapped around the reproduction of high-quality pictures. My expertise is in digital color. When cut, I bleed in pixels :) I have been producing high-end images for reproduction for over five decades.

When you receive an Alius Gallery image file, it is tweaked and color corrected to the very highest standards in the industry. Every printing process demands very specific resolution and color preparation unique to the process. Our Alius digital files exceed those standards and are guaranteed to produce the highest quality prints possible.

The Alius production process is quite unique in that it allows each file to remain small in size while producing printed images at extreme sizes and maintaining the highest detail possible. No other production process can make that claim.

THE PROCESS

Each digital file is capable of producing a high-resolution print. Smaller sizes reproduce just as sharp and clean and can be scaled down to the desired size when printed. The file is delivered as a high resolution, color managed Adobe RGB (1998) file ready for output, ideally prepared for any substrate (canvas, paper, glass, metal, etc) with no pixelation, resolution or clarity issues, guaranteed.

Alius Gallery offers three pricing/delivery options to choose from; Large, Medium, and Small. Each option is limited in maximum output size but can be scaled for smaller prints.

The Large file purchase option ($75) offers the most flexibility and can scaled down to print at virtually any smaller size. The most popular is the Medium file purchase option ($45). The Small file purchase option ($30) is the most economical choice. Each image file is downloaded directly to the customer and is ready to print. The Customer either prints the file on their own printer or deals with a printing company of their choice concerning print style, payment, and delivery
